Last time I’ve checked I’m on the 22nd page and I know it was really pathetic, Anyway that’s just fine because I’m so lazy. The first time I registered this site for the Busby SEO Challenge the site went directly to the 22nd page and I thought it was cool. Today, I can’t even find the page even in the 30th page

Busby SEO Challenge could be really challenging and depressing at the same time. I bet half of the participants are now redirecting their popular sites to their Busby SEO Challenge entries, which I will never do. I know some people who’s doing that though, I’m sure it’s really effective.

By the way, Busby SEO Challenge is the best seo challenge out there, because busby rules are really tought and any SEO experts will really be challenged.

Content and relevant domain names are a good start but that’s just the beginning. The real work begins in obtaining backlinks. Under normal circumstances, SEO experts move at a slow even pace in achieving backlinks that are relevant to their site topic. In SEO Contests, other than other contest sites, there really aren’t any sites that are relevant to your keyword so the tendency is to acquire as many highly ranked web sites as possible.

Busby SEO Challenge doesn’t allow participants to use a domain name with the phrase “busby seo challenge” which is in my opinion the best rule for an SEO contest. Most SEO champs won because domain names or buying a perfect domain name just in time really boosted their chance to win the SEO contest.

Here are some basic SEO tips I gathered today, i don’t have time to share my own thoughts

On-page seo is primarily that portion of seo that is performed on the web page itself – hence on-page seo. On-page seo is the least important form of seo, although without it one would wonder if a web site should really be ranked at all. On-page seo is simply very elementary, and foundational.

Off-page seo is primarily that portion of seo that is performed outside the realm of the web page itself – primarily on other people’s web sites – hence the term off-page seo.

On page seo generally deal with such areas as optimizing the title, the keywords, the description, and the contents in such a way that when the search engines read the source code of the page, the automatic assumption is that the web page has as its main premise, the idea that the keyword emphasized.
