Kevin Durant is 2010 FIBA World Championship Most Valuable Player

Kevin Durant had a game-high 28 points in his team's 81-64 triumph over Turkey in the final on Sunday.

The 21-year-old power forward won the honour - voted by international media representatives at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Dome - having averaged 22.1 points and 6.2 rebounds as his team went undefeated in Turkey.

K. Durant was awarded with limited Tissot T-Touch Expertwatch by Francois Thiebaud. Durant lead the USA team to a complete sweep 9-0 and win the championship after a 15 year drought.
