The only reason why Manny Pacquiao had a hard time in this bout, because it's clear that Juan Manuel Marquez was on his bicycle the whole 12 rounds bout.

What amazes me is the top boxing analysts of Yahoo and ESPN really thought Manny Pacquiao had a hard time with Juan Marquez, they re-rank their websites' top p4p list right after the bout. They demoted the Filipino fighting pride Manny Pacquiao as the no.2 p4p fighter and moved the American Floyd Mayweather to no.1. But if we checked the latest Ring Magazine pound for pound list;many boxing followers consider as the bible of boxing, the ranking remains the same.

Pacquiao - Marquez bout was so controversial that many were shocked and awed, but most of them slapped themselves after watching the replay. Floyd Mayweather is a really good boxer, in fact I believe he's the best defensive boxer ever. But the question, is he really a p4p best? You decide!

What is pound for pound? P4P is actually based on a range of criteria including "quality of opposition", factors such as how exciting the fighter is or how famous they are, or be an attempt to determine who would win if all the those ranked were the same size.

I'm not a boxing analyst or whatsoever but here's my Top 5 Pound 4 Pound:

1. Manny Pacquiao - His opponents face turned into a pulp for the last 3 years.

2. Sergio Martinez - Consider by many as old, but his knockout power argues.

3. Wladimir/Vitali Klitschko - Lennox retired when he felt Vitali. The brothers have all the belts right now, what can I say more?

4. Floyd Mayweather - The best counter puncher/defensive boxer in the world, but not the best fighter.

5. Juan Marquez - Joe Frazier junior.

Salute to Dredgifiaction!
